Bee Keeping Awakenings
It it's difficult to go forwards after a Big Win, cycling 500k in a month floor the first time ever. I'm in a state of turmoil now. Being a gnome gardener and awakening beekeeper in Spring is hectic enough.
I listened to those that spoke highly of the beekeeping system honed for profit. Who would think it's A Good Thing to limit the free movement of the Most Royal Queen? And yet, this is what many people do, to the detriment of the happiness of their Bee Colonies. I could show them the dried carcasses of One Hundred Drones r trapped into the bars of their gaol cell. If they were not Bees, but people, there would be public hysteria, then outrage. But it's only Bees, and People don't care. It drives me to despair to know that The Keepers of Bees are aware and continue to install Queen Excluders. Again, we wander through life following what we are told only to discover that it's is essentially cruelty driven by human profit. Then I reflect and wonder why I am surprised.
What else? Its my question now. What else do People do that causes hardship to Bees for the sake of profit? In my efforts to learn more from my Bees I need to be more sensitive, more sensible. There is great irony inn the fact the those People dwelling near my Bees were reporting increased incidents of aggression. True these People were not directly responsible, and true I was also one that bought Shop Honey and turned a blind eye to Bee Exploitation for Extreme Profit.
I vote to do better by my Bees and apologise most humbly for the errors pout my ways past and for any future trouble I may cause. I r tug tank my Bees for their Honey.
There is Good News to this week. My son Joe bought used solar cells, me for The Cottage, he for his farm shed and we met Rene a watercolors artist. We discovered a mutual interest in Bees and soon after Rene donated his old Beekeeping equipment. I am painting them in the Dandelion Livery on my Colonies and enjoying the Good Vibes. Rene was gifted honey in return and it's my intention to deliver a jar each 2 months to his letterboxletterbox his Off Grid, north sloping land by Tuckers Creek.
Peace.
